Gold Prospector

In the early 1990s, Lin Qiao endured a gambling-addicted husband, a seriously ill young son, and the theft of public funds. She went from being a high school teacher everyone envied to a “corrupt official.” Driven to the brink, she chose a path no one could have imagined.

Here, on a plateau five thousand meters above sea level, the sky is as clear and blue as a lake. Here, majestic glaciers lie beneath a blanket of snow. And here, a gold mine lures people dreaming of getting rich overnight, drawing them forward one after another.

This is a brutal wilderness inhabited only by men, where there is no mercy and no yielding. This is a gold rush unlike anything ever found in a book.
