[Western Crossover] Critical Hits? Not a Chance

Sally Green is a cute girl. Probably, if you ignore the fact that she isn't actually human.

Sally is an ordinary little Asian girl, if you ignore that her species is botanically known as a "peach blossom spirit."

After answering a call to action, she somehow ended up in a place with no Onmyoji. To fit in, she didn't rely on the Onmyoji that didn't exist anyway, and came up with a name that was more local.

There is no spiritual energy here, which means no fodder. Sally, a level-one character with no Souls and no dad to carry her, declares herself total trash.

One heal and nothing happens? Revive teammates whenever you want? Critical-hit Peach Blossom?

No such luck.

She revived her best friend's brother, but had to rummage around for ages to gather enough souls before she dared try. Then she had to heal him for ages before he was even half alive.

When her boyfriend had an episode, it wore her out. She spent two or three days treating him without sleep or rest before his health bar finally returned to normal.

Sally gazed at this infuriating world with the weary eyes of someone who'd seen it all. Life is all about leveling up!

God! Is it really so hard to be an independent, self-reliant spirit?

The really awkward thing is that I don't have any useful Souls at all. After Peach Blossom arrived, I rushed to power-level her and gave it a try. In the end, I had no choice but to bring the old man out again and stick a little flag in him. So whenever her unlucky dad remembers, he starts a new story to commemorate those hopeful days when he worked so hard to gather Peach Blossom...

I really do love my girl, so the angst isn't that bad. Don't let the blurb fool you.

Let's pretend my girl is strong even without Souls, okay? QAQ I don't care, I don't care, just give me good Souls!

Finally, I should make this clear: the pairing is Harry Osborn. It might not be obvious, but it really is him.
