[Crossover] The Struggle of Modern-Day Monsters

Back in the days of Heian-kyo, the great yokai not only stood at the top of the ranks of the hundred demons, but were also famous among humans. Those a little weaker were more or less their underlings or shikigami serving onmyoji.

But as the ages progressed, the great yokai gradually fell into slumber. The more powerful they were, the sooner they disappeared, until all that remained in the world were their legends.

The yokai still around in modern times have all joined the Association of Modern-Day Hundred Demons. Its president is Lady Kusa, and its vice president is Lady Ubume. They are dedicated to helping every member of the yokai world find purpose in life.

The fox demon is a textbook example of someone who adapted well. He even became an honorable math teacher at Namimori Middle School, a school that's neither too big nor too small, but just right. Life is going great with his two best buddies.

Then, for some reason, the great yokai who hadn't made a peep for all these years began waking up one after another.

Wait! Ootengu, we parted on good terms back then, didn't we?!

Main pairing: Ootengu and Shuten. The side pairings are a mixed bag, but none of them are particularly prominent.

Actually, this idea came around the same time as the Peach Blossom story next door, but... Ahem.

All right, since I started this, I might as well finish it... So even a lazybones like me is going to try for the sake of my beloved Ootengu.

The heartbroken one still can't pull him┑(￣Д ￣)┍

Yes, I still can't pull him QAQ. It's been a whole year, you damned dog, and you still haven't shown up. Take a lesson from your buddies, would you!

Everything above is obsolete. On day 390, the big dog finally came home, so it's about time the fox demon in my house got a name change too _(:з"∠)_
