Little Star

[Complete] [Two first loves, a little sweet treat~]

Han Xingxing was a pretty, adorable little girl, like a doll. She was just a little timid, and cried at the drop of a hat.

Luckily, she had a tsundere older boy who complained about her to her face, but always sang her favorite song, "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," whenever she cried, cheering her up without fail.

Later, she was adopted.

And later still, whenever she wanted to cry, there was no longer a tsundere yet gentle older boy to comfort her!

As a newcomer just starting out in the entertainment industry, Han Xingxing landed the female lead role in a low-budget TV drama financed by her company not long after joining. They said President Xie had personally picked her for it.

Before long, rumors began circulating around the company that President Xie was treating her so well because he wanted to keep her as his mistress. Han Xingxing thought that was unlikely, but it still scared her so much that from then on, she kept her distance from President Xie.

After it happened several times, President Xie noticed something was up and cornered her in his office.

Watching President Xie walk toward her while loosening his tie, Han Xingxing trembled and wondered whether she should scream or call the police if he tried to force himself on her...

Unexpectedly, when he stopped in front of her, his expression was a little awkward, but his voice was gentle as he sang, "Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are..."

Hearing the gentle voice sing the song she knew and loved best, Han Xingxing was dumbfounded. She stared blankly at President Xie's moving lips, forgetting even to blink.

As the song ended, President Xie pinched her cheek.

"You ungrateful little thing. Have you forgotten who used to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star' to cheer you up whenever you were sad as a child?"
