What Do I Do After Being Forced to Resurrect as an Evil Spirit?

[Planning to start sometime around the New Year] Jiang Shi was an exorcist. After slaying the Ghost King, he died of exhaustion. Two thousand years after his death, future generations revived Jiang Shi with a magic circle. He burst out of his coffin. "Damn it, which bastard dared to dig up your ancestor's grave?" The evil ghost in front of him dropped to its knees. Jiang Shi assumed the bastard was about to beg his ancestor for mercy. Instead, a cold-faced young man rushed over from behind, killed the evil ghost with one slash, and lifted Jiang Shi out of the coffin. Holding up a small metal block Jiang Shi couldn't identify, he calmly said: "Rescue team, there's a child here who was offered as a sacrifice. The evil ghost scared him into a daze. He's terrified and needs treatment." Jiang Shi: ...? Who's a child? * Only later did Jiang Shi learn that two thousand years on, exorcists had been renamed National Security Bureau Espers. The job came with lots of benefits and generous allowances, plus flexible working hours. It greatly reduced the risk of dying from overwork, as exorcists had in the old days. After Shen Zhi took Jiang Shi in, his "luck" in repeatedly escaping danger made him the lucky charm everyone praised. His role was to lower the risks of missions. Jiang Shi: ??? What kind of lucky person spends every day in high-risk situations? It was just a necessary way to disguise his identity. Jiang Shi quietly concealed the fact that he still sometimes turned into a ghost. But during one mission, Jiang Shi accidentally let his secret identity slip in front of Shen Zhi. Shen Zhi's eyes darkened as his long fingers traced Jiang Shi's horns. "I thought there'd be a species barrier between us if we dated, but now I can relax." Jiang Shi, who'd been panicking a moment ago: ??? Jiang Shi: So you're not human either. Wait, why do you like me? Setup: 1. The bottom is a half-human, half-ghost hidden big shot, seemingly slacking off but actually a hardworking do-gooder who never takes credit. The top is a cold, taciturn big shot who's only soft for his wife. 2. An experimental work. Mutual romance, with no set order to who falls first. Premise: Keep working hard at life. Once the fog clears, surprises await.
