Listening to Ziyu

During the reign of the Great Zhou's female emperor, a hundred kinds of demons roam the land, leaving the imperial capital in turmoil. Then a mysterious little girl suddenly arrives in the capital and subdues all the demons with gentle methods. The female emperor takes a great liking to her, appointing her Listening Sound Imperial Preceptor and elevating her to the highest official rank, making her the court's chief demon hunter. The story begins when she is six years old, arriving alone at the palace gate and subduing the demoness Qing Nü Fang...

The palace is deep and treacherous, like a sharp blade floating in a sea of blood.

With a word, the emperor can raise one person up, bring one person down, kill one person, or save one person.

The world is in chaos, demons and monsters are in chaos, but nothing is more chaotic than the palace's schemes and bloody struggles.

The cruelest thing in this world is to trust you, love you, and respect you, only for you to betray me.

The demons that appear in this story are all drawn from works such as A Compendium of Demons and The Classic of Mountains and Seas. Once the novel is complete, I will upload the sources.
