(Crossover) Notes of an American Cop

As a police officer, my most basic duty is to serve the people, protect their lives and property, defend the innocent from false accusations, protect the weak from oppression, fight violence, maintain a peaceful society, and respect every citizen's constitutional rights to freedom, equality, and a fair trial.

My badge symbolizes the promise I have made to the public. I will wear it at all times and strive to fulfill that promise. Before God, I will devote everything I have to the cause I revere.
