[Blurb]
Lian Rong was a professional matchmaker. At twenty-six, she quit her job to get married, only to discover that her boyfriend of nine years had cheated on her. She didn't cry, make a scene, or demand a breakup settlement. Instead, she went to a flower shop and bought a potted succulent named Little Red Robe.
Heartbroken, she neglected to care for it, and a heavy snowfall froze it to death. She took Little Red Robe to the cinema and the mall to reminisce about the past, then had a good cry and decided to live well. But then she died in a massive fire...
Lian Rong was reborn one month earlier. Life wasn't quite the same as usual. She began noticing changes at home: things had been moved, or the clothes she'd hung on the balcony had ended up on the sofa.
When she changed clothes, the mirror fogged up. She wiped it with her hand, and the mirror actually quivered. It even felt a little warm to the touch.
She calmly turned around. After all, she'd already died once, so what was there to fear? She wrapped the bath towel around herself again and asked the mirror, "What's your name?"
The mirror didn't move, but a sharp thump came from behind her. Little Red Robe had fallen off the windowsill.

Plot 1
After Hong Yi took human form, he became quite the handful. Everything was new to him. He could speak "human language," but he couldn't "write."
Lian Rong stared at his crooked scrawl in surprise. "Are you illiterate?"
Hong Yi frowned. "What does that mean? Doesn't sound like a compliment."
Lian Rong smiled, took off her glasses, and rubbed her eyes. "Starting today, you'll study."
Hong Yi suddenly put an arm around Lian Rong's shoulders and wheedled, "Then teach me, big sister."

Plot 2
Lian Rong took Hong Yi out to meet her friends. While her friends were in the restroom, she leaned close and whispered, "They say you have a boyish voice that makes people want to kiss you."
Hong Yi winked at her, then suddenly closed his eyes and puckered his lips. "Go ahead."
Lian Rong shook her head and pretended to be shy. "There are too many people here."
Hong Yi leaned toward her, his handsome face enough to make anyone swoon. "Hurry up, or we'll be out of sight, big sister~"
"Don't go back to the elf world to serve as a guard. Come back and be my little prince.", Lian Rong
