My Adorkable Top Student Boyfriend

The department beauty, Jing Li, lost a bet with someone and has to confess to Jing Ran, the top student in her department, and date him for three months. Jing Ran is plain-looking, with a terribly unfashionable mushroom haircut. He wears thick black-rimmed glasses with lenses like the bottoms of bottles, and dresses like a penniless country boy. After dating Jing Ran for a while, Jing Li realizes: Damn, this bookish nerd was handsome all along! But his taste is truly awful. He’s made himself look hopelessly dowdy and tacky. After Jing Li gives him a makeover, Jing Ran is suddenly promoted to campus heartthrob, and all kinds of girls from who-knows-where start fawning over the nerdy top student. What’s more, his painfully low emotional intelligence leaves Jing Li both loving and hating him. She suddenly can’t stand having a boyfriend who doesn’t understand a girl’s heart, but he’s so handsome, and also… A ditzy, single-celled department beauty who’s a struggling student VS a ridiculously handsome top student who’s slow on the emotional uptake Content warnings: 1.
