Haikyuu!!: Nishinoya, Please Help Me Fall for Someone Else

Asaba Kyoka had loved her childhood friend ever since they were little. You could fill an entire sheet of paper listing Kozume Kenma's good points and still only be getting started. To share her feelings with the person she loved, Asaba Kyoka did her best to keep her compliments to a minimum. [Black hair really suits you, but the hint of gold in it now is actually pretty cute, too.] [You look so cool when you're playing volleyball seriously. My heart races every time I see you.] [Even though you're shorter than everyone else on the team, when I notice you, you're the only one I can see.] [You're really dazzling. I've always liked you.] With her rough first draft still needing work, Asaba Kyoka was anxious about the confession she planned to make in a few days. That day, she made two fatal mistakes. The first mistake: As she rehearsed her confession in an empty classroom after school, the door suddenly swung open. At just the right moment, the love letter in her hand ended up in front of the unfamiliar boy standing in the doorway. The second mistake: When the boy blushed, panicked, and stammered in obvious confusion, she failed to stop him before he took the letter and ran off. She hadn't even confessed yet, and she'd already given her love letter to the wrong person. Worse, it was the first draft, before she'd had a chance to sign her name. It was a little embarrassing, but surely he'd understand if he read the letter. It should be fine... right? - Nishinoya Yu never expected that being sent by a teacher to carry a stack of test papers to a lower-grade classroom would earn him a love letter from a cute first-year girl. Confessions were common at school, and he often saw other people confessing their feelings. But getting a love letter handed to him in a classroom? That was way, way, way, way, way, way too sudden!!!? The girl was cute, though! No, not just cute, super cute!! But he didn't even know her name yet!? A hint of gold is actually cute, too? You look so cool playing volleyball? You're really dazzling? You're the only one I can see? Help! This underclassman really likes him?! Please note: 1. Nishinoya Yu is the pairing. 2. Written for fun; updates when inspiration strikes. 3. The author's self-indulgent flight of fancy. Theme: To be added
