Be Good, Let Me Comfort You

[1] Gu Yanqing, a prominent figure at University C, is gentle and refined, handsome and aloof, and a famously hard-to-get abstinent beauty. People say that a god like him is a flower on a high peak, fit only to be admired from afar. No one could ever win his heart. One night, emboldened by alcohol, Qin Nuan blocked the flower on his high peak beneath a plane tree, right in front of their passing classmates and under everyone's watchful eyes. Without a word, she kissed him. Onlookers: ??!!! Afterward, she cried and hit him. "I've tried to chase you twice and still haven't got you. Why are you so hard to win over? You've wounded my pride, sob..." Gu Yanqing's heart ached. He pulled her into his arms and gently comforted her. "You've already won me over. Don't cry." "Really?" She looked up at him with tearful eyes, utterly pitiful. He gently wiped away her tears. "Congratulations, you have a boyfriend now." Qin Nuan's tears turned to smiles. She hooked her arms around his neck and pouted coquettishly. "Boyfriend, you made me cry. Make it up to me." "Then, how about another kiss?" he said, leaning in to kiss her. Their classmates crowded around to watch and take photos. At the moment the picture was captured, someone noticed that Gu Yanqing's... ears had turned bright red. [2] Qin Nuan always thought her boyfriend was poor. During college, he had an endless stream of part-time jobs. She was always reassuring him: "You don't have to work so hard. I'll support you in the future." Gu Yanqing leaned lazily against the sofa and asked in a leisurely tone, "You want me to live off you?" Qin Nuan: "So what? My family has plenty of money! As my boyfriend, all you have to do is look pretty!" Gu Yanqing chuckled, clasped her slender waist, and smiled. "Fine. I'll be your kept man." Later, Gu Yanqing took Qin Nuan to meet his family. When she saw the luxurious villa halfway up the mountain and the servants who came out to greet them, she was stunned. Qin Nuan: "The heir to Teng Rui Group was working part-time every day and telling me he was short on money?" Gu Yanqing leaned by the window, looking a little troubled. "If my startup doesn't succeed, I'll have to inherit the family business. The pressure is intense." Qin Nuan: "…" I'm mad now, and there's no making it up to me!!!!!!!!! ★★ The cheesy pickup lines in this story are all from the internet. ★★ Author's Weibo: @Ye Zi Xin's Little Nest Theme: Stay positive
