[Digimon Frontier] The Fading Song of Feathers

Xia Chuan Ji'an is gentle and mild with everyone, but only ever gives Yuan Hui'er a sincere smile.

Yuan Hui'er is aloof and hard to approach, yet only gives Xia Chuan Ji'an a tenderness no one else can have.

"If I really have to give a reason... it's because Hui'er is my light."

"A reason? You don't need a reason to like someone, do you?"

-

Utsunomiya Satsuki is quiet and reserved, and there's not much she especially likes, apart from cherry blossoms.

Kanbara Takuya loves cherry blossoms, and the girl beneath them, more than anything other than soccer.

"Takuya? He's just a reckless idiot, the idiot who first pulled me into the light."

"Satsuki... I like her. I like her smile and her kindness... I like everything about her."

-

Ou Raoxi is cheerful and occasionally a little eccentric, but she always keeps her troubles to herself and is especially sensitive when it comes to Huiyi.

Kimura Huiyi is strong and dependable, and takes especially good care of Ou Raoxi, who is so much like him.

"I'm truly grateful that you brought Huiyi and me together, even though we were two parallel lines that could never have crossed."

"It's not like I go out of my way to pay attention to Koizumi. I'm just drawn to her presence. Do I like her? Maybe."

A few things to know before reading:

1. As the synopsis says, this story has three couples.

2. Ji'an is a sound-type fighter, Satsuki is an illusion-type fighter, and Koizumi (the transmigrated version) keeps the same fighting spirit.

3. Satsuki and Koizumi (the transmigrated version) are based on Xiaobiao and Yaojing Jiang's ideas, respectively. I'm just responsible for writing their character profiles, lol.

4. I wasn't very good at keeping the characters in character at first, so please forgive any out-of-character moments.

5. Half canon! Half canon! Half canon! The plot has been changed, and lines have been taken over!

6. Starting from Chapter Four, three years have passed. The writing style changes quite a bit, but I was too lazy to revise the earlier parts, so they'll stay as they are [collapses].
