Humanity's Last Stand Crossover

Rewrite! In 1944, Steve Rogers, history's first superhero, Captain America, falls into a deep sleep in Antarctica. When he wakes in 2023, the first thing he needs to know is this: the world doesn't need heroes. The Purge: From 7 p.m. on April 1 to 7 a.m. the following morning, all crime is legal. Kill to your heart's content and help reduce the population. Reader advisory: The CIA can't beat S.H.I.E.L.D., S.H.I.E.L.D. can't beat Hydra, and Hydra can't beat the NFFA. Unrestrained monopoly capitalists have tied the entire nation to a runaway train, and no one can stop it. Steve Rogers and Leon Barnes are the two protagonists. A crossover with the DC and Marvel universes. Everyone except Steve Rogers is an ordinary person. Bruce Wayne, Peter Parker, and Harry Potter are all ordinary-person alternate-universe versions created for this fanfiction. Other characters will appear, and you can suggest characters to add. The entire story has been discontinued and will be rewritten.
