God Played a Joke on Me

One day, the Earth God, who had secretly descended to the mortal world, told Du Leisi, "You can transmigrate to different worlds and reach the pinnacle of life."

Born with terrible luck, Du Leisi thought this would be a huge golden finger.

However...

In the straight God's eyes, the pinnacle of life meant countless beauties, a harem full of women, and a house full of children and grandchildren.

The gay Du Leisi, bent like a mosquito coil, smiled from his hospital bed. "Please let me die cuddling a life-size body pillow of my male idol. Thank you."

The legendary film star Lang Sheng and his number-one devoted fanboy, "Tao Ge," had been connected in spirit for ages. When they finally met, Lang Sheng was first captivated by the other's looks, then got a free chance to travel through time and space after a thoughtless remark.

From then on, under the draconian rule that breaking character meant death, it was one death after another, dying and coming back to life.

Du Leisi: Today I died for love with my male idol again. Smiles.

Lang Sheng: Hmph.

Earth God: Bah.

A scheming, looks-obsessed film emperor top + a shy, spectacularly unlucky fanboy bottom + a homophobic straight Earth God who is eventually cured (?)

Pseudo-quick transmigration, sweet romance.

Potential trigger: The bottom's name only gets changed at the very end.
