[Negima!] The World Sank at Dusk

The story of a doll belonging to a certain Creator and a certain young mage.

You clearly explained the risks this operation carried, including your own destruction.

No matter what, this excessively long war was already nearing its end, and, thankfully, all the sacrifices made along the way had not exceeded expectations.

So what did you have to be sad about?

You wanted to say that to him, but all you could manage was a hoarse gasp.

The boy's glaring red hair and eyes, along with his tear-streaked face, so wretched it was almost laughable, blurred into one, as if melting into the sinking orange sunset in the sky behind him.

Some force was dragging you away from that radiance. The tide of darkness surged higher, and as you sank, you instinctively realized you were heading toward death.
