A Cannon Fodder's Revenge (Reborn)

Mini-scene:

Liu Hanwen woke up one morning and felt that the people and things around him were all wrong, though he couldn't quite say how. Even more surprising, he could understand what the birds were saying.

A few sparrows on the jujube tree in the courtyard were burping as they gossiped.

"That pretty young man’s fiance went into the woods with his cousin again, tweet tweet tweet." The sparrow followed this with a slightly lecherous laugh.

Liu Hanwen, sunning himself in the courtyard: …I'll break off the engagement tomorrow! I'll take down that pair of men!

"Poor young man. If he had a beautiful coat of feathers, I'd marry him," sighed another sparrow.

Liu Hanwen: ...Thanks, but he doesn't need beautiful feathers.

"Speaking of which, yesterday I went to peep at the Mu family man bathing. The thing between his legs is really [bleep], bigger than any man in the village, tweet tweet tweet!" cooed a female sparrow shyly.

Liu Hanwen: ...People and sparrows could never work out! Wait... is it really that [bleep] big?

Mu Hancai: Huh???

Note: 1. This is the story of a minor character who is reborn, loses his memories, gets them back, and returns to take revenge.

2. The shou can understand birds that have gained sentience.

3. Men, women, and ge'er all coexist in this world. It starts in a farming village and later moves to the imperial court. A sweet, satisfying story.
