1. This is a fictional period setting, with some original worldbuilding. Please don't nitpick. Also, to clarify, the heroine's father and eldest brother work at a meat processing plant, and her second brother is a carpenter, so her family is well-off for that era, even very well-off. The hero is a driver who makes trips to other provinces, and his salary and allowances are substantial. He is not poor either. So if you're looking for a period novel where the leads are always short on money, this isn't the one for you.
2. The hero and heroine are each other's first love. They dote on each other, and it's a sweet romance.
