Raising Kids at Rikkai Academy

Blurb: During spring break, Qie Yuan, who had been gaming until late at night, accidentally clicked on a game where you could create your own character. The handsome features of his club captain flashed through his mind, along with Senior Wan Jing, who got along so well with him. His smile widened, and his fingers kept moving. After creating the little character and giving it a name, Qie Yuan yawned several times in a row. He was so sleepy he could barely keep his eyes open. [Ding! Your little one will arrive in your world in two hours. The little one's care instructions will arrive with them. Please follow the instructions to raise your little one.] Qie Yuan glanced at the message, paid it no mind, shut down his computer, and crawled into bed. The next day, after swatting away two alarm clocks, Qie Yuan poked his head out from under the covers, his curly hair sticking out in every direction. At the same time, a delicate little doll with the same curly hair as him, barely as tall as his palm, struggled out from beneath the covers too. "Papa, I'm hungry." The little one's soft, squishy voice rang out. Qie Yuan froze all over and turned his head. Looking down, he met the little one's adorable big eyes. A moment later, Qie Yuan's disbelieving scream rang through the room. "Aaaaaah! The little one I made really did crawl out of my computer!!" Bonus scene: On the first day of their second year of middle school, Qie Yuan reminded the little one more than ten times to pretend to be a real doll and come to school with him. Then, grinning from ear to ear, he headed into the tennis club. Liu and the others noticed that when he put down his bag, he was nothing like his usual rough self. His movements were as gentle as could be. He was so careful that anyone who didn't know better would think he'd packed the game console he'd been longing to buy. When Qie Yuan went to change, Xing Cun gestured for Zhen Tian to check his bag. Zhen Tian opened the bag, barely holding back his anger, only to find a palm-high [lifelike doll] inside. It had skin as fair as Qie Yuan's, the same curly hair, Xing Cun's deep blue hair, and purple eyes just like Wan Jing's. Even the tough-guy Zhen Tian found the little doll adorable. The senior members of the club gathered around, admiring the delicate [lifelike doll] with features reminiscent of their teammates. Ren Wang, who was especially skilled at making handmade dolls, placed it in his palm and used his other hand to tug off the doll's little white shorts. "Let's see how well it's made..." Then everyone was surprised to see that not only had the [lifelike doll]'s purple eyes turned slightly red, but its soft, pale skin had gone bright red too. Xing Cun and the others: Shocked.jpg Qie Yuan came back in his sports uniform. "Aaaaaah! What did you do to my little one?!" He rushed over and snatched the little doll from Ren Wang's hands. Then he carefully put its little shorts back on, his voice so gentle it was almost unrecognizable, full of remorse. "Little one, I'm sorry, I didn't protect you well enough..." The [lifelike doll], blushing from head to toe: Eep. Reading guide: 1. A story about the entire Rikkai team raising a little one. A heartwarming, healing daily-life story with no romance. 2. Slice of life. Matches are only briefly mentioned, really briefly. I can't write match scenes. There will be almost none, compared with the matches in my robot novel. Lots of personal worldbuilding. 3. The little one has healing powers and will cure Xing Cun's illness. 4. Rikkai has 16+3 members. Lots of personal worldbuilding in the daily life. They win, win, win! Theme: Walk alongside the light and heal your heart.
