Lawliet

This is the story I've found hardest to sum up. The first part is funny, the second part is heartbreaking.

In short, it's still a story of pain.

Because the male and female leads both die in the end.

Part One

Her eyes were filled with his pale face. As if she couldn't bear it, Hui Lisha closed her eyes, just as she had allowed it to happen two years ago. L's hand traveled through her hair and up to her face… For all these years, he had dreamed of holding that exquisite face in his hands. Now it was truly nestled in his palm. His hand was cold. Hui Lisha clasped it, her rosebud lips parted, and he leaned down to kiss her.

A kiss sealed their love.

He had longed to kiss her since the Middle Ages, right up to this era. From the first time he saw Snow White dancing gracefully in a little cottage, L had been destined to fall from the heights of the crowd and become an ordinary boy, coveting beauty and longing for a woman just like any other man. He dreamed of her, of holding her in his palm, where she could never spread her wings and fly away. Yet he was unlike other men. He was L. His love didn't need to rely on illusory dreams to come true. The woman he wanted had loved him since the Middle Ages. And now he wanted to love her, kiss her, hold her. She could not resist… That was his fairy tale: arrogant, childish, and selfish.
