Synopsis

Life is hard. Like any other zombie, I have to scrape by for food, all while dodging the relentless pursuit of Celestial Masters day and night. What a waste of time. If I were put on display in a museum, maybe I'd get three meals a day, a place to stay, weekends off, and full benefits. With that in mind, after carefully looking into it, Xia Zha followed modern customs: he wrote up a resume, dressed neatly, and politely knocked on the door of the Celestial Master Museum. From then on, the proud, self-important charlatan had a little zombie by his side, one he always kept close to his heart. 1. Celestial Master Shen Gun, the top x little zombie Xia Zha, the bottom 2. Modern alternate setting, supernatural plot, slow-burn romance but sweet. 3. Told from the museum's perspective, following the plot through romance, ghost-catching, and pet-raising. Theme: No matter what circumstances you find yourself in, pursue sincerity and kindness.

Fans Who Support Su and His Career

I hate Mary Sue-style male leads, pretty-boy male leads, and emperor male leads. I absolutely can't stand them stealing the spotlight. My reviews are all over the place, so feel free to warn others. That cockroach who hosted the event is begging for food everywhere. Pathetic.

For Personal Use

Subjective picks for my favorite robotic, eccentric, unflappable, adorably clueless bottoms. No content warnings. Some books were read so long ago that I can’t remember the details.

Personal Reading Log

I’m devoted to the bottom and the protagonist. Side couples are a hard no. I prefer healthier tastes, and I’m not really into stories where humiliation and chasing after someone back are just a smokescreen for the bottom to control the top. I love sickly beauties, group adoration, and world-weary saviors. I lean toward top-focused bottom fans.

Bottom-Protagonist Stories on JJ

Includes all kinds of pretty, adorable, and charming bottoms, devoted tops who cherish their partners, and tops who pursue their bottoms. No romance-related landmines. The description hit the character limit, so check the comments for more.

For Readers Who Really Love the Bottom

My favorite types are pretty, handsome, and trashy shou. I love seeing my baby doted on by everyone.

Uke-Centric / Uke-Comfort Reads (Completed Novels, Part 2)

A mix of beautiful shous, cute shous, delicate shous, shous adored by everyone, shous who get the Mary Sue treatment, and strong-but-tragic shous. My one requirement is that the couple dotes on each other, with a slight preference for the shou being pampered. (Now up to three!)

A Picky Reader's 2025 Reading Log (1)

Suddenly want to see what I've read over the past year (1/1–12/31). I'm picky about what I read and only read what I want to, and the blurb has to draw me in.

Probably a List of Novels for Bottom-Preferences

I wholeheartedly adore dreamy, handsome, beautiful, and adorable shous. I love stories where the protagonist gets all the spotlight and glory, though sometimes I just ship characters.
