Su Huai, the junior grandmaster of Tianhua Mountain, the greatest sect under heaven, emerged from a hundred years of secluded cultivation after comprehending the laws of fate.
He realized that if this world were likened to a fictional tale, he would be the story's great villain, and a perverted one at that.
In the future, he would take on a disciple with exceptional natural talent. That disciple would be the chosen one of this world, commonly known as the male lead.
Up to that point, everything was perfectly normal.
Unfortunately, as a perverted villain, Su Huai somehow fell deeply in love with his own disciple.
He tried to win over Yin Qi, the male lead, with countless rare treasures. When Yin Qi sensed something was wrong and rejected him, Su Huai tried to force him. In the end, he even resorted to drugging him, a despicable tactic that left Yin Qi no choice but to betray the sect and sever their master-disciple relationship for good.
Blinded by his unrequited love, Su Huai did not reflect on his actions. Instead, he turned into a full-fledged villain and opposed the male lead at every turn. The ending was predictable: his spiritual meridians were destroyed, and he was imprisoned beneath Tianhua Peak for all eternity.
The naturally optimistic Su Huai fell into deep thought.
He wondered whether his fate had been so outrageous that even the Heavenly Dao couldn't stand it, and had therefore let him glimpse the truth so he could save himself in time.
With so much at stake, Su Huai hurriedly began laying out his plan to save himself:
1. Top priority: Do not take on a disciple!
[Isn't a carefree life alone good enough? Why go looking for trouble?]
2. Men are dogs. Rather than find a man, I should collect more of those jade whatsits.

Su Huai thought his plan was perfect.
But the best-laid plans go awry. A few months later, Su Huai went for a leisurely stroll. In the misty drizzle, he looked up beneath his jade-bone umbrella and saw a servant disciple assigned to sweep the Heavenly Steps beneath Tianhua Peak. The disciple's eyes were as still as a dead lake, devoid of joy or sorrow.
Su Huai: Interesting.
Three months later, Su Huai's image had been etched into the servant disciple's heart, once as cold and desolate as a dried-up well. Su Huai didn't hesitate to use a fake name and identity to live in a little hut at the foot of the mountain with the young disciple. Life was wonderfully comfortable and pleasant. The second part of his plan had changed, but the result was the same. Why bother with a disciple who was the male lead? Wasn't it better to find a loyal puppy who had eyes only for him?

Some time later.
Su Huai: Thanks for asking. It's not better. I'm already thinking about breaking up and running away.
He never took on a disciple, but his romantic partner was still the male lead!!!
When they were dating, Su Huai used a fake name and identity, and so did the male lead. [doge]
I don't know how to describe the characters' personalities yet. [scratches head] I'll add more later.
I'm terrible at writing blurbs, and I may change this later (?). If you like it, please add it to your collection~
