[DC/Nightwing/Batman] The Long Crane Points to the Heavenly Scene

You wandered through the mortal world for a thousand years, yet let me see you only one last time.*

When Nightwing first heard Beifeng tell his story, he burst out laughing without a second thought.

“Found in Antarctica? Frozen for over a thousand years? What do you think you are, Captain Ameri, Mmph!”

Beifeng released Nightwing’s lips without changing expression, then leaped away with his light-footed skills, leaving Nightwing utterly bewildered in the wind.

Years later, I dreamed of that day again; the scene was distant, hazy, and filled with drizzling rain.*

What was he saying? Nightwing strained to lift his head, trying to make out Beifeng’s expression, but his mind was still roaring, unable to respond.*

The characters belong to DC; the plot is my own original idea. A gentle, naturally deadpan top with terminal laziness × DC’s finest butt, Nightwing as the bottom. The top is already dead; prepare for flashbacks.*

P.S. The lyrics are from “Song of the Koi.” This is my first attempt at the DC universe. The timeline is after “Forever Evil” (not really). The various comic continuities are all mixed together. Who cares~*

Lex Luthor is a good person, a good person, a good person.*

If any characters are out of character, it’s all my fault.*

The original title of this story was “A Heart Turns Cool.”
