Ascension to Sainthood

Not-so-serious blurb: A food-loving little [old] Taoist [monster] is looking for his big brother. Looking and looking, he finds a super food-loving vampire wolf with a tagalong? Bull! I just wanted to catch a useful human-shaped pet. How did I end up becoming a nanny? Movie star Allen is heartbroken too: I went through so much trouble to rescue my brother, who'd been starving for a hundred years in the hands of those damn vampires, and take him abroad on vacation so we could grab a bite along the way. I didn't kill anyone, so why did you, a Taoist with such a bizarre style, latch onto me and refuse to let go? An Eastern fox meets a Western wolf, and the two can still get along just fine. Plot-focused story, please adopt me. Serious blurb: Dao Ran has wandered the mortal world for a thousand years in search of someone, doing a good deed every day along the way. But by mistake, he gets bound up with an arrogant movie star who has a tagalong, and the two are drawn into a series of seemingly bizarre events that bring old grudges from a thousand years ago to the surface... Good or evil? The truth will come out one day. Who will be the judge in the end? A story about obsession, immortality, and reincarnation. The early chapters set things up, so readers who are short on patience can start from Chapter 5. [Look at my serious face: Does the blurb sound angsty? It's really not, I promise.] Cold, irritable, arrogant top x scheming, snarky bottom, according to a friend. Unless something unexpected happens, updates will be daily, so feel free to dive in.
