Lily's Morning

On the first day of every month, Lily dreams. She dreams of all kinds of strange and wonderful worlds: zombie apocalypses, Viking voyages across the ocean, fairy tales turned nightmares...

Grandma says this is her gifted psychic ability: Dream Worlds.

Lily looks at the flowers sprouting from her left hand, then at the stream of water flowing from her right, and a giant question mark pops up over her head: Do mountain spirits have this kind of strange psychic ability? Could a half-human, half-spirit be more powerful than a pure-blooded mountain spirit?

It all began on her twelfth birthday. Not only did Dream Worlds appear that year, but someone claiming to be her older brother showed up, too.

Curious about the human world, Lily left the Ten Thousand Mountains and stepped into the bustling mortal realm, in the form of middle school.

Wait, why do mountain spirits have to go to school, too?
