I Am Number One Under Heaven

As globalization accelerates, the reach of the title "Number One Under Heaven" keeps expanding, and the pressure of competition grows ever greater. In preparation for his fight with European warrior Richard, Japan's "Twin-Blade God," Nakamura Akioka, travels to China, the birthplace of Asian martial arts, hoping to gain new insight and break through to the next level. But during his travels, at the Viewing Cliff on Blade-Mark Peak, in the mountains of Love and Lovelessness, he encounters an exceptionally strange man... The British and Americans call him the King of the World; The Japanese and Koreans call him the God of Martial Arts; The Chinese call him Number One Under Heaven. The crown of the king is coveted by all, but it can rest on only one person's head. The plot is modern wuxia, with people racing along highways using qinggong. The pairing is roughly: an overpowered, swaggering protagonist from a feel-good web novel, paired with a troublemaking villain from a romance web novel. Both have their own protagonist auras, and they love and fight each other. [Other Notes] 1. The two foreigners in the synopsis are both minor characters. The story is mostly set in China. The leads are Ah Heng and Wang Jiuxiang, so don't get the pairing wrong. The romance has the vibe of "the domineering CEO's runaway sweetheart" and "two henpecked husbands." It's one-on-one, happy ending, with the bottom as the protagonist. 2. The title means "Number One Under Heaven" in the old BL sense, and also that I'm number one under heaven. It's meant to be decorously humorous and delightfully vulgar. It only barely has anything to do with the story, but it's a classic case of a title that doesn't match the content :) To avoid overlapping with other works in the genre, I've changed it to modern wuxia and am trying to write from an outline.
