[Naruto] We Were Never Meant to Be, Our Eyes Just Refuse to Give Up

Hanabi Hyuga still has no idea what is going on. On the eve of her twelfth birthday, she found an alien who claimed to be from the moon. His name was Otsutsuki Toneri, a descendant of the younger brother of the legendary Sage of Six Paths. You can imagine for yourselves how awesome he is. In short, four words: impossibly damn cool. #Mom, I found a descendant of the Six Paths clan!# Even the ridiculously handsome Otsutsuki Toneri had one imperfection: he was blind, and a very handsome blind man at that. "I want to see Hinata." "Shut up! Stop bringing up my sister every other sentence. She's busy chasing the Prince, so why would she have time for you?" "..." Hanabi Hyuga was horrified to discover that Otsutsuki Toneri was plotting to get his hands on her sister! And he kept trying to seduce her with that face of his! (Otsutsuki Toneri: You never even gave me a chance to explain.) Years later, the one who had wanted to take someone's eyes and the one who had nearly had hers taken ended up together. Hanabi: If I'd known you had that sort of ulterior motive, I should've strangled you on the spot. Toneri: I was young and foolish back then... Put the child down, and let's talk this out. Hanabi: I won't, I won't! We had no fate tying us together. It was all those eyes doing the heavy lifting. What else do you have to say for yourself? Toneri: I'll go take care of my Earth residency papers right now... Hanabi: Mwah! Let's stay happy together forever! A reader's guide: 1. The title says it all. Pairing: clever and brave Hanabi, the boss, X the pitiful, lonely little blind guy who's good for nothing but his face (Hey!) 2. The ending is obvious from the title.
