Great Sage: Peach Blossom Demon, Peach Blossoms

So, why would anyone try to apply logic to a BL story?

?

The Peach Spirit, named Taoyao, was a peach tree that sprouted after the Buddha, Tathagata, brought down the Five Elements Mountain five hundred years ago. Her original form was the pit of a flat peach that the Great Sage hurled at the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King during his havoc in Heaven. For various reasons, she gained sentience. (For instance, the Buddha's Five Elements Mountain was really his five fingers, so it naturally had more spiritual energy than other places. It couldn't compare to Flower-Fruit Mountain, but it was still blessed with beautiful scenery.) (And besides, a flat peach the Great Sage had gnawed on must have had extra spiritual energy, right?)

She wants to give the Great Sage a mountain full of monkeys. Most of the dream has come true.
