The Buddhist Prince

He is the most exalted prince in the Great Jin, yet also the prince least likely to ascend the throne. Eighteen years in the Buddhist order forged a heart of boundless compassion. Twenty years at court laid the foundations for a century of prosperity. His robes flutter in the wind, carrying the elegant bearing of a Wei-Jin gentleman. His mind is unfathomable, and he possesses the grand strategy to plan every move. His Buddhist name is Huairang. At Yunju Temple on Qiliang Mountain, he built a humble hut atop the golden summit and spent eighteen years in the Wind-Whistling Retreat without ever leaving, yet his fame for learning spread throughout the martial world. Sixth among the royal princes, he is the Worthy Prince of Zhongdu, able to know five hundred years of the past and five hundred years of the future. He arouses no jealousy in others, yet even Heaven envies him! Forty years in one lifetime: tears freely shed, pain fully savored, and joy embraced with abandon!
