Romeo and Juliet Fanfiction: Thy Lips Are Still Warm

A Romeo and Juliet fanfic. Yes, that Romeo and Juliet. Verona is Earth's 40th colony, controlled by two great families: the Capulets and the Montagues. Mercutio is the Prince's nephew, and mocks everything serious, especially love. Both the Capulet and Montague families seek to win the Prince's support, hoping to break Verona's balance of power and unleash a real war. The serious, earnest Tybalt regards his family's honor as everything; Mercutio, who never stops talking nonsense, is forced to do something meaningful. Cyberpunk. Love and hate. Fandom: Romeo and Juliet - All Media Types Pairing: Mercutio/Tybalt Warning: Major character death Alternate Universe - Richard K. Morgan's Altered Carbon Setting: Basically, in a highly advanced future, there are countless human colonies, and technology for transferring and downloading consciousness has been developed. Everyone can download their consciousness into different bodies, and those bodies can be enhanced with technology. For details, see Richard K. Morgan's Takeshi Kovacs series. Theme:
