I Awakened a Wood-Type Ability Before Graduation

Back then, my house was surrounded by excavators, just waiting for the contract to be signed so they could start tearing it down. I was eating the melon the Big Brother in Charge had brought me, and when I saw the amount of the demolition compensation, I got so excited I knocked watermelons all over the place. Before the Big Brother in Charge and I could even snap out of our shock, Dad Nation showed up at our door. I didn't have to look for a job anymore, I became a civil servant just like that, a house and a car were provided, I got all the benefits, too, and they even assigned me a security guard and an assistant. My dad could finally hold his head high, and he stopped wanting me to come home and inherit his scrap-collecting business. Oh, right, the house didn't need to be demolished, and there was no demolition compensation, because the Big Brother in Charge and I were both taken away. After all, he knew too much. A third-person, everyday-life sweet treat. Theme: Take every day, every person, and every ray of sunshine around you seriously.
