[Kuroko's Basketball] Come for Me

"Chen Ye... is crying?" Alex stared blankly at everything unfolding on the court.

How many years had it been since this boy last cried? Even someone as calm, gentle, steady, and perfect as him... even someone as ordinary as him could shed tears?

He was thoughtful and warm as jade, and when he cried, the teardrop mole at the corner of his eye was breathtakingly beautiful.

But... why are you crying?

Alex's heart ached.

Her life was now so full of joy and passion.

The reason it felt so vibrant was largely because of him.

Why was that?

Only now did she realize she had already fallen for him so deeply.

One lifetime, one chance to meet.

You came for me.

I am yours.

You come for me.

I'm yours.

Reader's Guide:

1. This is a birthday story for Alex Dora Garcia. The pairing is "Ya," since Alex can be rendered as Alex or Alexis.

2. The story is told in third person from Alex's perspective. The pairing is Ice Ya; Fire Ya is purely friendship, or even familial affection.

3. This is a sweet, ambiguous romance and a serious drama.

4. The teacher-and-student trope appears again, and various characters may be out of character, especially Ice Ya.

5. No outline or draft. The writing style varies quite a bit and can be a little strange, orz.

6. This is a short story. Alex is my goddess, so I'll incorporate some anime plotlines... and give her a few golden fingers. Really, she'll just be able to read the action on the court. After all, she's a former WNBA player, so it shouldn't be too much of a cheat, right? ╮(╯▽╰)╭

I just noticed a bug. The official guide says my goddess is 31... I'm devastated.

So in this story, the goddess is 20 to 22. It has nothing to do with the official guide... it's not important for now, so let's leave it at that.

A 15-year age gap really makes me cry... sob.
