[Kuroko's Basketball] Youth Is a Painful Illusion

Death.

What kind of subject is it? Heavy, sad, or liberating?

Our lives twist and turn, but we all return to the starting point.

Life, then death.

So are we living toward death?

If that’s really the case, isn’t reality far too sorrowful and hopeless?

If we are destined to die from the moment we are born, then what are we living for?

Really, perhaps we’re just living in order to be alive.

So please, hold my hands tightly and open your eyes.

You still have us.

Kise Ryota.
