Years later, when people in the underworld spoke of the Nine Gates Commanders again, everything had already changed. Once, he had pointed his sword at the world and sworn to ride into battle to defend the land. Once, he had taken up his brush and promised to protect you for a lifetime, free from worry and sorrow. But in this world, so many things go against our wishes, and so many hearts in this mortal realm turn against us. The male lead's name comes from a line of poetry: "Frost-covered leaves are redder than February flowers." The three characters in Er Yue Hong all appear in that line. Later, Xie Yuchen, whom Er Ye raised as his son, took the stage name Yu Hua, using the character for "flower." So the surname Ye was chosen, and the author cleverly made the remaining two characters Yu Shuang. The sun shines through the day, and the moon gives light through the night, so Yu means brightness. Frost forms when water vapor turns directly into ice, and it is a beautiful sight. Er Ye's life was dazzling. I hope he can have someone by his side who will walk with him to the end without regret. His life may be brief, but it will be brilliant. Foye's later name also comes from a line of poetry: "Through hardship, we opened paths and cleared the forests. We pacified the southern tribes and brought them into Huaxia." I think it suits Foye's life well. He gave his previous life to his country, sacrificing his own family for the greater good.
