Come Here. I Won't Beat You to Death

The poker-faced god was the school's number-one delinquent, famous for stirring up trouble and boasting a maxed-out combat rating. If being rejected in public after a confession wasn't a big deal, then being rejected because of some bookworm was absolutely, positively intolerable.

When the poker-faced guy, radiating murderous intent, blocked his rival at the school gate and was about to coldly say, "Get over here. I'm not going to beat you to death," he saw the rival calmly trudging forward, completely unaware of the danger. It was easy to imagine that behind his thick glasses were little eyes that said, "I want food."

Attention, a food lover is approaching.

The gatekeeper suddenly received this message, and his impression of his rival was...

...Suddenly, suddenly, unbearably adorable!

This is a school-life writing exercise I worked on with my bestie Se Se a couple of years ago. It was supposed to be a short novel, but since we're both terminally lazy, I figured I'd just post it as a short story. It's adorable, and I like it a lot. I've written some of what comes next, but my bestie never managed to come up with the everyday-life bits in the middle, so we stopped here. If you like it, please leave a comment~

It's short, so feel free to jump right in o(^▽^)o
