Blurb
During the decade of turmoil, Xiao Tiancheng and Lu Wenbin worked together in the provincial Party Committee. They supported each other through thick and thin, and their families forged a deep friendship. But Wenbin’s wife died while giving birth to their youngest daughter, Ziqing, and Lu Wenbin was soon persecuted to death during the political movement. After the couple passed away, their friend Xiao Tiancheng unhesitatingly took on the responsibility of caring for his late friend’s orphaned children.
Lu Wenbin had two sons and a daughter: Lu Ziping, Lu Zi’an, and Lu Ziqing. Xiao Tiancheng also had two sons and a daughter: Xiao Mingkai, Xiao Mingxuan, and Xiao Minglang. By a twist of fate amid the turmoil, these six children from two families became siblings, and from then on grew up together under one roof.
As Zi’an’s sibling affection for Minglang gradually turns into love, and Minglang becomes the object of pursuit by Shanghai’s wealthy after starting work, how will the gentle and radiant Minglang respond? Can the naturally quiet and introverted Ziqing emerge from the shadows in her heart and find true love? What conflicts will arise as the children grow up together? Come and see the love and heartbreak of this family through their passionate years.
[Prologue] Amid the wind and rain, I recall the past and our brotherly bond. Ten years of knowing and appreciating one another: I upheld the ambitions of a hero, while you showed the courage of a true man. We cherished each other’s spirit. In a time of chaos, when disaster struck, you entrusted your children to me, knowing I would not abandon you. Then came our parting, and the divide between life and death, with you in one world and me in the other. Losing a dear friend is something no one should have to endure. Through the days I barely survived and the moments I clung to life, all I could do was serve you with all my heart and raise your children with every ounce of strength I had. If one day Ziqing finds someone to belong to, and Ziping has a family to carry on his line, my wish will be fulfilled!

Thesis:
I came from a place of elegance and like plain writing style.
It's a really good article, with real feelings in the plainness. Such is life.
Well written, very plain, a little wordy
Finally finished reading Bawangwen
I haven't watched it yet, let's watch the ending first~~
I stayed up all night and finally finished reading it. It is a rare good article in Jinjiang. I can't remember how many times it made me shed tears, so I must say: I love you to death, Pingyang! Keep up the good work!
I couldn't help but run over to watch the ending first, luckily it's HE
Excellent article structure. Multiple protagonists and multiple lines. Everyone has a different ending.
However, the author always wants to pair up everyone who appears in the book. Sometimes it seems too far-fetched, especially the pair of Zi Ping and Guo Guo. It feels like they are together without much ink.
The description of the three Xiao brothers and sisters is very distinctive. They both have the ugly side of human nature and also have a completely positive description like Ming Ming.
Touching, real life, this family is not unhappy.
Some people miss it and can never go back. Happiness is in your own hands. If you don't cherish it, it will slip away.
So we all need to cherish our blessings.
