Look, That Scum Gong Is Groveling for Love

Whenever Gu Qing thinks back to the day he ran into his scumbag ex again, he can't help giving himself a thumbs-up for his quick thinking. Remembering the ex's face, uglier than if he'd eaten a cockroach, fills him with satisfaction. Whenever Chu Ling thinks back to the day he ran into Gu Qing again, his heart aches. The gentle, kind, seemingly perfect Gu Qing he remembers has become this: not only is he married with a child, he's also so despicable and mercenary that he's using the kid to extort him. The funniest part was when Gu Qing said in his thick country accent, "Hey, handsome, your car's real pretty. Can I touch it?" That shattered every fantasy Chu Ling had about him. Gu Qing thought their last meeting had killed Chu Ling's interest in him for good. He never expected that after all these years, Chu Ling's tastes would have become so bizarre that he'd even say he liked scruffy, foot-picking men...
