A Bookworm Reborn as a Merman [System]

Blurb: After more than ten years of hard study, Chi Xuewen places among the top three in the imperial examinations. But he performs poorly when granted an audience with the emperor and is only appointed to a lowly ninth-rank post. On his way to take up the position, he gets struck by lightning. System: “Welcome, player Chi Xiaoduo, to the Huaxia Alliance Planet. Starting the first mission: obtain one Tear of an Angel.” “Miss, forgive this humble scholar's ignorance. I could not understand what you said. Could you trouble yourself to repeat it?” System: “Sorry, I forgot you're from ancient times. Please forgive me, young master. You are truly fortunate to have been chosen by the High God. If you complete the missions ahead, you can return to ancient times and receive one wish.” Little scene: Chi Xuewen: “Good sir, Confucius said, ‘Men and women should not touch each other when giving or receiving things.’ Please remove your hand from my butt.” Du Yuanhua: “Xiao Chi, Confucius said men and women shouldn't touch each other. We're both men, so why should you mind?” Chi Xuewen: “B-but Confucius also said, ‘Do not do unto others what you would not want done to yourself.’ You don't like people touching your butt, so how can you force it on me?” Du Yuanhua: “So you've been fantasizing about my butt all this time, Xiao Chi. Don't be shy, my butt is always happy to let you touch it~” Here come the spoilers. This story is one-on-one, with the protagonist as the bottom, and follows a power-up progression.
