[Criminal Minds] Justice on a Wooden Leg

Former mercenary and current independent investigator Leo Harrington decides to join the BAU at Rossi's invitation, hoping to experience life in a team. There, he meets the famous Dr. Reid, and together with the rest of the BAU, they encounter one baffling case after another. Leo was born in Germany and has spent years living in Europe. He has his own measure of justice. A complicated background, an illustrious noble heritage... Serial killers appear without warning across the states, and everything arrives with Leo. Beneath the layers of fog, the secrets behind the murders gradually come to light. And beneath Leo's sufficiently complicated identity, what else lies hidden...? Sometimes justice is like a wooden leg, so fragile it can be shattered at a blow. "Leo, who are you, really?" Reid looked at the pale, handsome man before him, but somehow couldn't bring himself to say those words. A kind and clever BAU agent, and an unconventional serial killer with a complicated identity: they both want to know what has become of this world. (Original cases, pseudo-detective fiction.
