The little mermaid possessed all the beauty of humankind. For the one she loved, she was willing to give up her luxurious life and her three hundred years of life, and endure endless suffering.
In The Little Mermaid, the little mermaid could not shed tears, but the tears she shed in her heart made me pity her all the more. Her sacrifice for love moved me, yet I still regret that she never won the prince’s love.
So whatever fate awaits the little mermaid, I still want her to receive the one thing she wants most: the prince’s love and an immortal soul.
