All I Long For Is a Toast Like Our First Meeting

I am Ye Feiguang. My surname is Li. You may call me Sanlang. A bad reputation is simply the price you pay. Don't expect to get what you want without paying any price. Master, he's just a short-lived mortal. Let me kill him for you. Otherwise, you'll suffer for tens of thousands of years over a mere few decades. I will only drag you down. Even if it costs me everything, I will protect you and keep you safe. When all this is over, would you be willing to share a jug of wine with me beneath the clear breeze and bright moon? Yes. "Far to the west of Kunlun lies a great marsh called Kongbi. A beast lives there, named Feilian. Feilian has a wolf's head, a leopard's body, tiger's claws, and nine tails. It resembles the foxes of Qingqiu and has jade-green eyes. Its roar is as loud as a dragon's cry and a phoenix's call, and all who hear it turn pale. It wields great power, commanding wind and controlling water. Wherever it appears, plague sweeps across the land. After the Investiture of the Gods, it vanished from the world, its whereabouts unknown.", Records of the Four Seas, Kunlun Volume, Strange Beasts Chapter [Invented by the author. No need to fact-check.] Reader's guide: 1. This story features martial-world feuds, gods, and strange creatures, including a nontraditional take on the ancient Investiture of the Gods and tales of ghosts and monsters. Some characters differ from their traditional versions, so please don't read too much into it. History also takes a different turn after the Tang dynasty, in the fictional Great Yu Dynasty. 2. The characters are loosely based on two of the author's favorite roles played by her idol Jiao Enjun. Some aspects of their personalities are references, but they are absolutely not the same. 3. Li Sanlang Jinyu is the Erlang Shen of a parallel universe. So there is no True Lord in this story. No True Lord. No True Lord, let me say that three times! 4. A quiet farewell is good manners. This is important. Theme: Do good deeds, and don't worry about what lies ahead.
