[Three Kingdoms] Gu Qing

This is a story about a period of history, a world in turmoil, and a man standing tall amid the dust and smoke...

In the final years of the Eastern Han dynasty, warlords rose up to contend for the realm, and the flames of war raged without end.

In the Central Plains, in the beautiful land of Yingchuan, a man in green sat with his handsome face half-hidden by the rising steam of tea. A faint smile could just be seen at the corner of his lips. His jade-like fingers picked up a smooth black stone and tapped it onto a catalpa-wood chessboard, where it caught the light in a fleeting glimmer. He said slowly, "Good." The man across from him, carrying the scent of orchids, smiled too.

That was the beginning, a perfect beginning, and the moment when Guo Jia stepped onto the stage of history.

That was the year 196 AD, the first year of Jian'an.

Guo Fengxiao was born a hero, the finest among the noble and brave.

I love Guo Jia, Guo Fengxiao, so much. I never posted this before because there wasn't an option for no romance!

This is a little script that consists purely of memories and records of his life.

We once talked about making it into an audio drama, but the script wasn't suited to listening, so the plan fell through.

I love this script no matter what, so I'm posting it here, even though probably not many people will read it...

Here's a lighthearted short BG story about Guo Jia that I wrote: "Three Kingdoms: Yin-Yang Student"
