The third installment in the RHUMA memoir trilogy, following The Wings of Aether and Portraits in Two Mirrors, is The Burning Sky.
The Burning Sky tells of the tragic and humiliating death of French chemist Lavoisier during the French Revolution, and his struggles and path to redemption in RHUMA after his death. The novel focuses on the tangled relationship between Lavoisier and Lagrange, but above all, it explores Lavoisier's inner journey amid betrayals by himself and others.
"Alone, I have walked through centuries, wandering beneath a burning sky."

I think it's better to let them drink coffee! The aroma of coffee, the pungency, it's very chimie. French cafés were very famous during the Revolution, and they remained so ever since. Besides, Voltaire just talked about it, don't the Chinese still know how the Qing Dynasty killed people?
I really don't understand what a round face is? What does mellow mean?
Scars... Actually, didn't men at that time wear handkerchiefs around their necks?
It seems that Mrs. La was also imprisoned. On May 7, Robles' ceremony failed miserably, so he started a super crazy massacre in less than two months. Marianne's brother was killed in 1993. If this family knew politics and understood those young politicians, they would have run away long ago (Laplace and others seem to understand them, the generation gap)) But I don't think this is something after democracy. Personally, I think Jacobin is not democratic or free. At most, it is equal.
The oxygen incident is considered a scandal now, but it was quite common in the past. Scheler is a good man, but Pu may not be. I feel that Antoine's biggest mistake was working too much. Since he went to the Gunpowder Bureau, he should give up taxes. No one cared about it at the time? What a rotten system!
It feels like you're too harsh on him. There may be hidden rules for their commission, but it's not that sinful. The tax rates in the Yuan and Ming dynasties were low, and their righteousness in resisting taxes was awe-inspiring. When the Qing Dynasty came, they were all dumbfounded. Guangxi, Jiangxi, and Shanghai have all been tragic if they shot corrupt officials. As long as the charge of treason is really heartbreaking - if it is true treason, that's fine, he probably won't die. There is also Xiao Zuo who thinks that the tax package can cut off the income at will! Hehe!
If he doesn't move, doesn't speak, and just lies still, he will either look like a zombie or a corpse, but he will just be a very beautiful one.
Pretty…
Ah hahahahahaha, I really like your novels. Did the author intend to write an article for Leibniz? XDXD
