[Harry Potter] Universal Gravitation

I've heard that a good blurb gets more clicks, so I gave it a try. (Collapses) This is a story about two protagonists who make the impossible possible-- "I seem to have underestimated that head of yours, which looks like a holiday decoration. If it can even be called a brain! Let me say this again: I'd rather raise a Mandrake than a walking, human-shaped shell!" Severus Snape, Potions professor at Hogwarts, a luckless wizard who served under two Dark Lords. After his first tentative feelings were crushed, he became emotionally impervious like a mammal without feelings. A difficult, taciturn, gloomy, icy, arrogant, scheming man (maybe). "I heard that a Muggle named Columbus crossed the Atlantic using the stars and a compass, and ended up discovering a new continent. Have you heard of him, Professor? I can't shine or show the way, but I'm behind you. At least I can keep you from lying down when you've been knocked flat." Teresa Letheining, an ordinary Muggle who switched tracks halfway through life to become an apprentice witch in a magical family. She has maxed out her ancestral skills, but lacks the innate conditions to use them. Her goal is to complete her transformation. A naturally oblivious girl with bizarre tastes, a sharp tongue, and a habit of ignoring skills. Now let's hear what the others think of our two protagonists: Grace Hall Letheining: "Young people, sooner or later, you'll have to pay for what you've done." Jacob Nicolaud: "It seems Professor Snape doesn't understand what kind of family we are, which is why he underestimated us. We're always prepared to reclaim our partner's soul, whether the other party is a Dark Lord or Merlin." Sean Letheining: "Um... Professor, I may have forgotten to warn you that the women in the Letheining family are rather fierce... Setting fire to the house and beating up a faithless man are things they really might do. You'd better believe it." Pearl Letheining: "Actually... more than where you dug all this up, I'd like to know where you slept last night... Ow!" (Gets smacked.) This blurb still looks pretty hopeless, haha. This won't be abandoned, because it's finished. One-on-one, happy ending. There are cheat skills, but they won't be used without limits. No complicated, angsty love or love triangles, but there are heartfelt moments from a quirky, slightly broken cast (laughs). I just really admire Uncle AR, and I also think Professor Snape has had an absolutely miserable time. Then I read some fanfiction, and this story came to be. The professor has no background, so I'll give him a well-connected family to lean on. He has no students who trust him, so I'll put one in each of the four houses (even if they're a bit eccentric...). He has no girlfriend... I'll write one! Theme:
