[One Piece] Head Nurse's Notes

* History isn't fun unless I mess with it. Contains personal headcanons. Please ignore it if they get face-slapped.

* A few characters from other storylines make an appearance, including a certain Aokiji BG story of mine, "Blue Bird." If that's not your thing, don't read.

* Contains some material from the movie "One Piece Film: Z." You can read this without having seen it, since it's not really the focus.

* A rather wild imagination, with literary-style banter and snark.

Also known as "The Growth of the Marine Headquarters Head Nurse: From Quiet Snarking to Sharp-Tongued Firebrand," "Unofficial History of Marine Headquarters, 1513-1520," and "The Marine Headquarters We Never Knew: The Marines' Cute Side"

"I'm only the head nurse. My job is simply to keep the number of casualties as low as possible. What the hell does your justice have to do with me?"

There is very little I can do, while they can do so much. But the parts of them the world remembers are always one-sided, only the parts people need.

That's perfectly normal. Still, I think that years from now, when people open the records and read only of Vice Admiral Garp's bravery, Fleet Admiral Sengoku's wisdom, Admiral Zephyr's betrayal, and the duel between Admirals Aokiji and Akainu, something will seem to be missing.

I don't know what purpose there is in recording these words, which have no historical value whatsoever. But I feel that this way, I can preserve their humanity, instead of having them trudge forward forever beneath the iron banner of justice.

At least I remember. They were here.
