The Knot That Binds the Heart

I'm too lazy to think up a blurb. This will do.

If even Fuxi, lord of all the gods, can't be trusted, then what is there left in this world worth believing in? And what's more... what about a demon hiding right by your side?

"It doesn't matter whether you believe me or not. I won't swear to the heavens or take an oath to prove myself. I believe that if you open your heart, you'll be able to feel it. That's better proof than anything I could say, and it's proof that will never fade."

After returning to the modern world, why am I still entangled in legends from the prehistoric age...? In my previous life, I was Chiyou, yet I ended up vanishing without a trace. In this life, I... just want to be an ordinary mortal. I just want to be myself... nothing more than You Xiaofei...

"Feelings can't be trusted at all. It's not a matter of whether I believe you or not. I don't feel anything right now."

"Even water can wear through stone. One day, you'll feel it. I have an eternity to watch over you, and to wait for you."

Ahem, all right, about Chiyou. I'd considered writing a second part before, but kept holding back because I was afraid I'd abandon it. But recently I happened to flip through Jin Fu, and suddenly realized that Chiyou might be the most pitiful uke I've ever put through the wringer. So this time, I was inspired to give Chiyou a happy ending. This story is meant to be warm and sweet, with only a little angst (I swear to the heavens, just a little).

As for the characters' traits and stuff, it should be a devoted, scheming, loyal-dog seme VS a goofy, miserable, hot-tempered uke (What kind of pairing is that?). If I haven't forgotten, there may be a brotherly side couple showing up. And... actually, the new dad is the real BOSS! One last warning: this was started on a whim. The author loves melodrama and outrageous, cheesy plot twists. Updates are irregular, so read at your own risk.
