[The So-Called Soul-Binding Technique]
Take a child born at the Yin hour on a day of the Yin year, cut out their heart and skin them, pull out their nails and gouge out their eyes, then use a secret art to alter their fate. After a full cycle of the heavens, transfer their soul into another body, and they will be reborn.
A tedious, complicated secret art with no practical use. No one knows how to perform it anymore.
So all of the above is just the author pulling your leg~
[The Blurb]
A beautiful woman in blue robes, holding a jade flute, proposes: "Qinghua, marry me. You'll get a lot out of it."
The disheveled girl raises her head in bewilderment. "Can you take care of my period every month?"
The woman in blue stiffens. "Well... no."
The girl continues, "Can you give birth to a baby for me to play with?"
The woman in blue: "Well... no, I can't do that either."
The girl rubs her forehead. "If you can't do this or that, what use are you to me?" She pauses, then continues, "All right, all right. I'll ask you something simpler. Do you know the ancient secret art of soul-binding?"
The woman in blue: "..."
[An Apology] When I wrote this blurb, I was in a hurry. Also, your humble author isn't very well-read, haha, and I couldn't tell the difference between the words for the monthly period. So here's a reminder for the ladies: the word for a period is guishui, and the character gui is pronounced in the third tone.
One more thing: The story's popularity has been really low this past week, even though lots of people have added it to their collections. They just aren't reading it. I don't know whether they're waiting for more chapters to build up, or if there's some other reason. My own guess is that everyone thinks this is a horror story.
So I want to make it clear that this is not a horror story~~~ There aren't any supernatural events; everything is caused by people! [Aaaah! You spoiled it, you spoiled it!
Your humble author is a scaredy-cat too, so she's tried really, really hard to make the scary parts lighthearted. But her writing is limited. She's working to improve, but she's honestly not as good as other writers.
Just look at her profile: it's practically empty
P.S. I've been building up my track record lately. I won't abandon any story that hasn't been marked complete.
[Please Note] This story includes a lot of original characters. If you came here hoping for a story that follows the plot of The Legend of the Condor Heroes, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. For now, I don't plan to get to that story. The title mentions The Legend of the Condor Heroes not because I intend to write fanfiction about it, but because I simply want to write a story about Apothecary Huang and give him a happy life before the events of The Legend of the Condor Heroes begin. That's all.
If you're disappointed, please feel free to drop the story. Honestly, the more I write, the worse this story gets.
There has been no update for so long... I can't figure out the relationship between the characters... Except Qinghua and Zhao Bufan... Is the protagonist really Huang Yaoshi... Embarrassing...
Personally, I think that girl thinks about too many things, which makes it easy for people to think that she is insane.
In fact, Qinghua is a cute girl, and I feel so happy when I see her suffer tragedy for others~←_←
The blue and white girl's thinking is a bit weird, a bit abnormal, and not so cool.
What a god-like development. I don't understand what happened when Qinghua was poisoned and why Zhao Bufan died.
... ZWhat is going on?
Are you planning to write Qinghua to death in the end, let Huang Yaoshi marry Feng Heng, and then continue shooting the Condor? No!
. . . To be honest, I quite like Zhao Bufan I'm a little reluctant to let him die.
Not allowed to end! So many secrets haven't been solved yet!
Damn, when will this part of White Camel Villa end?
