All the Time in This Life [Uchiha Itachi]

After leaving Konoha, I dreamed countless times that Itachi, expressionless, drove a blade through my heart, as if I were nothing more than a stranger he had never known. And I lay in a pool of blood, watching his back, watching it until I no longer had the strength to keep looking. He never looked back, not once. He didn't pause for even a second.

In the end, the person who brought Uchiha Sharo's life to a close was the person who had once mattered most to her.
