Saving the World: Giving Myself a Cheat Skill

From my cringe-worthy early works collection.

There's always some badass who says, "I've got connections up top."

Mo Ke says, "Having someone up top makes you a badass? Hmph, having someone down below is what makes you a real badass!"

Mo Ke is a ghost with someone down below. Thanks to that, he gets fast-tracked to become the Ghost Emperor's disciple and cultivates into a Ghost Immortal.

As an immortal, Mo Ke spends every day in an endless cycle of fighting monsters, leveling up, meditating, and leveling up again... One day, while fighting monsters, a sudden tribulation sends him back to the time before he died. And so, Ghost Immortal Mo Ke becomes Mo Xiao Ke, while the living Mo Ke gains an overpowered cheat that indulges his grandiose hero complex.

The living Mo Ke says, "As long as I'm alive, I'll always be my own soulmate."

Darling, you're positively rosy-cheeked!

Are you insulting me?

I was complimenting you!

Damn it, I'm a ghost. A ghost who's rosy-cheeked? Do you think I'm Nie Xiaoqian?

Nie Xiaoqian was a rosy-cheeked ghost?

No, the flour she bought was rosy-cheeked...

PS: This is a cultivation and farming story. The living Mo Ke is the gong, and the Ghost Immortal Mo Xiao Ke is the shou. In other words, it's self-shipping. It has a Superman complex, individual heroism, monster-fighting and leveling up, and adorable but twisted creatures. Enjoy with caution.

PS: The story goes VIP on Wednesday, with three chapters on release day, then daily updates afterward.
