(Water Margin) Dusk Clouds Across a Thousand Miles

A lawyerly young reporter, an engineer-minded girl detective, a bustling ancient capital, a scroll of worldly life...

When someone kills a person who should not die yet, and lets someone who should never have been born live, the task falls to them!

What if Qin Shi Huang had not burned books and buried scholars alive? What if Sun Quan and Liu Bei had not won at Red Cliffs? What if An Lushan had never launched the An Lushan Rebellion? What if Wang Anshi's Xining Reforms had not failed? What if Yue Fei had not died at Fengbo Pavilion? What if Yuan Chonghuan had not fallen victim to a false-accusation plot...

And even, "What if Qiu Chuji had never passed through Ox Village"?

Is history itself a raging torrent, its inevitable course already set? Or do historians simply praise everything as the inevitable march of history because it has already happened?

They observe and record this altered history, and determine whether history truly has a set course!

And Water Margin is their final trial run before they officially begin their mission...

(The prologue is written like an academic paper, so... resting my chin on my hand with a smile >_.)
