Feitan had forgotten that he, too, had been only eight that year. He couldn't think about anything else. Those captivating words stayed in his mind, circling around and around without end. After a long time away from these stories, I suddenly realized that ending it this way was best. No messy, uncertain future, just this moment. Being alive was the best thing of all.
